Grants to Bring Top Performance to Region Victoria

Regional audiences can expect the very best in live theatre, music and cultural events, with the latest round of the Victorian Government’s Touring Victoria program now open for applications.

The program helps performers, creatives and arts organizations to tour their shows, exhibitions and events in the region and greater metropolis Victoria.

Grants ranging from $10,000 to $250,000 are available for tours of Victorian arts and culture organizations and creatives.

The latest round of grants has supported regional tours by actors as diverse as singer Kutcha Edwards, all-female circus comedy show Trash Test Dummies, The Australian Ballet, Finucane and Smith and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

As well as ensuring local and rural art and culture lovers have access to the best productions, performances and exhibitions, Touring Victoria supports the careers of local artists by connecting them to a wider audience. . Touring productions also boost local economies.

The 2022 cycle of the program will support touring activities that will hit the road from November 1, 2022.
