Ajman Art Tourism Exhibition and Ajman Motor Festival launched

In order to further promote the artistic and cultural growth of the UAE, the Ajman Tourism Development Department (ADTD) has launched the Ajman Art and Tourism Exhibition, which is part of the agenda of the Art and Culture Office (ACO) (November 14 – February 28, 2023). The fair exhibits and promotes the works of many talented artists in collaboration with strategic partners in the hospitality sector.
Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, opened the exhibition, which aims to support local and international artists, build artistic exchanges between Ajman and the world and improve the emirate’s position as a center culture that nurtures the arts and encourages artistic innovation.
The exhibition is an extension of the cultural and artistic events organized by the ACO under the umbrella of Ajman Tourism, and focuses on showcasing Ajman as an important destination for arts and culture.
It supports artists by exhibiting their works in the city and builds a lasting collaboration with artists and business stakeholders. The ACO aims to continue supporting the artistic initiatives it launched last year, such as the “Ajman Arts Touring” exhibition.
This year, ADTD trusted hotels and resorts including Ajman Hotel, Fairmont Ajman Hotel, Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah and Radisson Blu Hotel Ajman.
The exhibition in their spaces presents the masterpieces and works of 20 artists of different nationalities and various art schools. The event also aims to attract entrepreneurs and investors from around the world, showing that Ajman offers opportunities that can help them develop their artistic activity, as well as develop the cultural and tourism sectors of the emirate.
The exhibition is a unique interactive platform that helps young talents to exhibit their creative works and show their artistic potential to everyone.
“The arts are a valuable asset that is fully supported by our able leadership and their continuous efforts to improve the arts scene in the UAE, in order to transform our country into a cultural destination that encourages creativity and serves as a free forum for talent,” organizers say.
The ADTD works to develop strategies to improve local, regional and international tourism in the emirate by planning and implementing global tourism promotion campaigns, organizing and participating in conferences and exhibitions, by regulating and developing the tourism industry and improving the capabilities and services of the tourism facilities and businesses operating in the emirate.
Also, under the patronage of Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of ADTD, the department launched the 1st edition of Ajman Motor Festival 2022 in collaboration with the Automobile & Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE), to promote the sport , social and tourism. activities in the emirate. The festival, which is the biggest show held for modified cars and motorbikes in Ajman, was launched on November 12 and continues until December 12.
It offers many interactive features, surprises, entertainment and music suitable for families to spend pleasant moments and learn about the wide – and fast – world of the automobile. The festival organizing committee is keen to provide visitors with a unique and fun experience through a host of activities suitable for all ages and interests, and to provide investment opportunities for local and international automotive companies to offer their products and services. The festival events take place in several locations in the emirate and include various shows of classic cars, modified cars, 4x4s and motorcycles aimed at speed lovers and car enthusiasts.
The five main events of the festival are as follows: the first event is the opening of the festival and was held in downtown Ajman on November 12 and is dedicated to modified vehicles. It included many activities and sections such as Modified Car Zone, Classic Car Zone, Government and Luxury Car Zone, Electric Car Zone, Motorcycle Zone, Drift Zone, Design Zone cars, the restaurant area, the children’s area and the theater competitions.
The second will be held at the Ajman Historical Museum on November 26 and will be dedicated to all types of classic cars. It includes various sections such as the classic car zone, the classic motorcycle zone, the children’s zone, a music band and a traditional kitchen, to stimulate tourist activity in the emirate. The third event will coincide with the celebrations of the 51st National Day of the United Arab Emirates and will be held on December 2 at Ajman Corniche and will be dedicated to government cars, modified cars, motorcycles and drift cars, in addition to entertainment and competitions suitable for all. ages such as magic tricks, war squad, kids zone, a stage to honor the winners, and more.
The fourth event will be the 1000 Miglia Experience on December 7, and the fifth and final event that will conclude the festival will take place on December 10. It is a convoy of luxury cars that will leave from the ADTD to the Masfout museum. It ends in Masfout where rewards will be given.
Alhashmi said that “Ajman Motor Festival 2022 is the first event of its kind to showcase the widest collection of modified cars and motorcycles, sports cars and luxury cars from Ajman and other emirates.” The Ajman Motor Festival 2022 is also organized in collaboration with Ajman Police, Ajman Civil Defense, Ajman City Center, Al Zorah Development Company, Gulfa Water, Saudi Hospital as sponsor gold and the Ajman volunteer team.
