GMercyU is hosting a fall cultural event on October 21 with Aryssa Leigh Burrs

World renowned Gwynedd Mercy University Voice of Gwynedd are hosting a fall cultural event featuring Aryssa Leigh Burrs in “Identify” on October 21 at 8 p.m.
“Identify” is a concert experience that uses art and music from a wide range of musical styles and collaborative interactions that create a space of ease and connection. Participants are encouraged to examine the pieces used to find empowerment, support and challenges in their own pillars of identity.
Upper Dublin High School graduate Aryssa Leigh Burrs will be featured in ‘Identify’. Aryssa has performed with IN Series Opera, UrbanArias, The Seagle Festival, Opera Columbus and Central City Opera. In 2022, she was a quarter-finalist in the American Traditions competition and she is the founder of ALB product.
In Apollo’s Chorus in Chicago, Aryssa was the alto soloist and she is currently a backing vocalist with the National Shrine, The Thirteen and The Crossing.
Aryssa received her undergraduate degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education from the University of Maryland. She received her Master of Music in Opera Singing and Performance from Northwestern University, where she performed in a variety of opera productions and orchestral works.
