Fans of “John Wick” got a surprise at Comic-Con in San Diego.

The annual comic book convention and entertainment event is happening this weekend in San Diego, Calif., from July 21 through July 24.

On Friday, July 22, Keanu Reeves surprised the crowd with brand new images for “John Wick 4.”

After appearing on the panel for his comic book series BRZRKR — which he co-wrote with Matt Kindt — the actor planted ‘Collider’ directors on the direction panel on which the ‘John Wick 4’ director Chad Stahelski was a speaker.

Together, the pair debuted the action-packed sequence, which sees Reeves’ character take on enemies in his typically brutal fashion.

It also gave fans a glimpse of her co-stars, Bill Skarsgard, Donnie Yen, Clancy Brown and Laurence Fishburne.

Fans reacted enthusiastically to the footage, with many taking to Twitter to share their reactions.

‘John Wick 4’ looks as clean as the rest…” one person wrote.

Another added: “The first look at the John Wick 4 trailer is awesome.”

“This new John Wick 4 trailer is insane,” someone else said.

“John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” was released in 2019 as the third entry in the franchise. The film – which also starred Halle Berry – was a box office success. Each installment in the franchise has beaten its predecessor at the box office.

John Wick 4 is set to release on March 24, 2023.

Elsewhere at Comic-Con, Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira made a surprise appearance at the ‘Walking Dead’ panel where it was revealed that the previously announced Walking Dead movie trilogy starring Lincoln’s Rick Grimes had been canceled – but replaced with something else. .
