Partnership DECC, QNCC for the promotion of business events

Doha: Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) and Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC) have signed a partnership to further promote Qatar as a hub for business events and further contribute strengthening Qatar’s Vision 2030. The partnership is an important milestone for Qatar, as the two largest companies that manage and operate exhibition and convention centers.

Both venues plan beyond 2022 to rely on events, conferences, live shows and exhibitions to grow the industry in Qatar. Both companies will strategically focus not only on local but also international audiences. In accordance with this offer of common knowledge and staff training to create industry best practices and implement future safety regulations governed in the exhibition industry in Qatar.

Venues alongside Qatar Tourism will visit a number of roadshows and industry exhibitions to promote Doha internationally to key decision makers.

Mohammed Al Naimi, Managing Director of AMLAK Holding and Management Company of QNCC, said, “QNCC is one of the iconic facilities of the Qatar Foundation, designed to represent the culture and innovations of the State of Qatar. Since my new role at Amlak, we have adopted a new strategy for QNCC to develop partnerships with the national and international sectors. Our main goal is to create new initiatives and events to help realize the 2030 vision.

We are excited to work alongside DECC to support this strategy by making incremental improvements that can help the industry grow over the next decade as we aim to bring more exhibitions and live performances to the Qatar.
