Brussels / Venice – Radisson Collection – the luxury lifestyle collection of iconic properties from Radisson Hotel Group – is proud to announce its third Brand Ambassador as part of its global Art Series program. This week sees the launch of surrealist photographer Minh T’s exhibition with the exceptional backdrop of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice during the key artistic moment of the year in the city: La Biennale.

Connecting customers to art and design is an integral part of the Radisson Collection brand experience. Each of the global art collaborations sees Radisson Collection partner with a different emerging artist to create immersive works of art showcasing the brand’s iconic locations. Radisson Collection’s new partner is surrealist photographer Minh T, known under the pseudonym @thismintymoment, who begins this collaboration by illustrating his artistic vision of the authentic Cannaregio district of Venice around the Radisson Collection hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice. Minh created his first series of works inspired by Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Veniceits historic district and the 59th international art exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia.

Minh T sees the world differently than most people: inspired by architecture, nature and geometry, his art is provocative and romantic, as if each image is part of a towering fairy tale. With a background in graphic design and architecture, Minh’s work avoids an overly technical approach and instead relies on feeling, fantasy and emotion. Through Instagram, he has enchanted audiences around the world, including notable publications, fashion houses and fellow photographers, translating his social media profile from a laid-back pastime to an internationally acclaimed aesthetic. For the Radisson Collection exhibition, he directed his passion and creativity towards creating photographs that showcase the unique architecture and design of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice and the Cannaregio surroundings. The 8 photographs selected for Venice will be exhibited at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice for the next six months.

Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice is located in a historic building on the Cannaregio canal, with furnishings and architecture representative of an ancient Venetian family. Built in the 16th century, the hotel was the residence of the Nani family, involved in the political, social and cultural life of the city’s rich past. Opened in October 2021, the property has been hailed as an outstanding gem of Venetian architecture in the northern part of the city, close to the Venetian Ghetto. Guests of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice will be able to gain a deeper insight into Minh T’s unique perspective and artistic process by following a photo walking route he created during his residency at the hotel, also available at the Radisson Collection Instagram channel as free. guide. Her work finds beauty in the simple details of our environment, such as geometric shapes in architecture or the play of light and shadow on a building facade. The walking route takes guests on an organized tour of the historic Cannaregio district surrounding the hotel – offering a real insight into the authentic side of the city. The hotel is the perfect place to explore and embrace the local way of life and the peaceful Venetian atmosphere while also being the ideal place to visit the islands of Murano and Burano, and the historic center.

Guests of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice will have the opportunity to admire Minh’s art exhibition in the hotel’s rooms and suites, in addition to enjoying the range of local experiences nearby offered by his guide. Just opposite the hotel – whose location offers the perfect base for discovering this art-filled city – guests can also enjoy the exhibition of internationally renowned artist Anish Kapoor at the Palazzo Manfrin, which will then become the artist’s permanent home in a city with a deep artistic tradition. From the canal-side location, guests can experience Venice through all 5 senses and off the beaten path through its history, art, crafts and gastronomy. Among the activities recommended by the hotel are a visit to La Fenice the opera and a visit-tasting of traditional dishes cichetti (Venetian-style tapas) at local restaurants in the Cannaregio area – the best place in town to experience local bacari, hopping from one to another along the canals sampling typical Venetian small bites and a glass of prosecco wine. Other nearby experiences include a unique perfume workshop at The Merchant of Venice, a historic scent art brand in Venice, and tours of local artisans such as Rubellia famous historical Venetian textile brand whose fabrics are present throughout the hotel.

Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice is the fourth Italian property under the Radisson Collection brand with the careful design renovation led by Studio Marco Piva. The property has 52 beautifully designed rooms and suites, many with restored ceiling frescoes and direct canal views. The interior of the hotel captivates with a formal balance of decorative effects that leaves the viewer free to enjoy the spaces and draw endless inspiration from the lagoon city. Radisson Collection Hotel, Palazzo Nani Venice is a luxury hotel that gives new cultural value to the building, combining artistic heritage and important aesthetic research. Here, the best design combines with the social and emotional value of the work, increasing its prestige. The artistic and historical value of the Palazzo has been preserved throughout the conversion, retaining and enhancing the original floors, structures and frescoes highlighted by light. The hotel offers a range of modern facilities, including private meeting rooms as well as two unique spaces in typical Venetian style with frescoes and exposed beams, perfect for private or social events. The hotel can even be fully rented for events such as weddings as a truly exceptional space, complete with a beautiful, quiet interior garden.

Radisson Collection has a strong heritage of connection with art and design that dates back to the SAS Royal Hotel in Hammerichsgade, designed by Arne Jacobsen, one of Denmark’s greatest 20th century architects, who later became the Radisson Collection Royal Hotel, Copenhagen, as it is called today. Today, art and design are recurring signature elements at Radisson Collection hotels, which feature works by local and internationally renowned artists. Radisson Collection will continue to follow Minh T’s journey across the brand portfolio and will soon announce the next artists who will be part of the brand’s global art series through 2023 as the brand’s artistic partners continue to take guests on a unique journey through Radisson Collection destinations through various artistic mediums.
